something i found (i think on the tranny?)

i was taking out my battery and cleaning everything because i need a new one..and i discovered a tube that looks to be broken or cut.. and i have no idea what it is or where it goes!! i took three pictures so hopfully it will help someone out on here to tell me what it is.. please help!

Automatic transaxle vent breather tube. completely normal and REQUIRED for normal operation..rest easy friend.

You have to worry if it is PLUGGED, or blocked.. otherwise.. let the sucker breathe, baby!
