JUST KIDDING! I just picked it up from the original owner for $1500! 4WD works perfect and it just rolled over 100k miles. Still have a lot of cleaning to do (interior).

Very nice truck! Do you do any off roading, city boy? I've got a couple of spots around my area that are pretty fun.

I spent 6 years in Alabama, I know how to drive offroad. After I put a lift and 33s on it, it might stay dirty more than clean.

i like the folding mirrors too. didnt notice that earlyer

the folding mirrors on those trucks suck. They are set far back in the door, and limit your visibility. That useless triangle window gets in the way. I used to own one of those trucks...what dumbass thought tiny triangle windows were a good idea!

Just tell us how you really feel....

Those vent windows were one of the best features of all old cars! You whippersnappers are all spoiled w/ this AC but you could open those vent windows & point it right at your crotch & get instant AC! not to mention they are great IF you lock your keys in there.
Matt I'll bring you down to the country when I get mine back running & get you stuck a few times. I'll show you how to drive in the mud!

I can drive in the mud and snow. My first car was a 1996 F-150 XLT 4x4 with the extra long bed, a small lift and a snow plow. My first job was plowing snow with my father, so this city slicker knows how to handle a truck. I also had a tonneau cover (something I highly recommend. great way to store stuff and lock it).

I love AC and use it as much as I can, but If I need to open A window I will just go ahead and roll down the main large drivers door window.

I love the two gas tanks too! but would always "own" myself. example: I'm driving along watching my gas needle slowly move towards empty. I drive by a gas station and laugh at the fools filling up. As I laugh I reach by the dash and flip the switch to change over to my second tank of gas.......OWNED......it is also empty! This happened more than a few times....lol.

That truck was lots of fun. I hope you enjoy yours!

got a couple of freinds with that model truck and i like the small triangler windows. my buddies truck i posted has them too and they work great along with another freind of mine with a 67/68 short bed/side step C-10 400CI and his triangle windows kick ass too. i guess its a personal thing:shrug:

For now the only windows that open are the A windows and rear slider. Both window motors are shot, but that will change this weekend. I absolutely cannot drive a truck without the windows going down. My neighbor came over tonight and helped me knock out some of the dent in the bed. She is going to really shine like new in the next couple weeks.

OB1, just let me get a better set of tires before I take it in any sticky areas.

Wow, great find.

And OB1 is right about those vent windows. Old co-worker of mine has a corvair and all the little windows on it make it decently comfortable in the hot georgia summer. I just bake in my zetec with no ac.

Nice find i sold my 95 f-150 2nd owner truck for 4K 351 2 door 4x4..89K..sitten on 33's 12.5 wide..3inch body lift..Just used alot of gas..
