SNOW DAY!!!

You suck! :P

I thought I might of gotten lucky with a snow day but it's just a delay. I'm going to try and get my snow tires mounted before work instead of my afternoon appointment for it.

This sucks. i havent even seen a snow flake down here in Kentucky.:( in fact i still have summer tires on the car. this morning was the first time it was actually below freezing so they will be changed this afternoon

i was just glad i got my garage roof tarped last night, so no leaks this winter!

and my commute sucked today...it took me 4 minutes because of the snow!

Commute was 20 minutes this morning.

I almost got killed by some douche in a Town Car going 80 up 93n. I had to swerve into the right lane to avoid him he was coming up so fast. I hate people.

At least my street got plowed!

The storm that dumped 6" of snow AND ice on us last year caused the town to not plow until 9:30 that morning. Suffice to say I was late to work.

Needless to say, the 'Stang is sitting in the driveway right now. No way was I going to try to take that thing to work with me!

uggghh all i got was a two hour delay. My car was completely covered in ice and it had icicles hanging everywhere. it took me like 30 minutes to get all the ice off and i did it all bare handed...i'm pretty sure i have frostbite now. :nonono:

wow...your man sucks...he should have been there bright and early to make sure your car was all clean and good to go.

slacker!!!!

I got you all beat.

I was diagnosing another problem with the Maxima last night. I put the window down so I wouldn't lock my keys in the car while it was running (dunno why since the Maxima won't let you lock the doors with the key in the ignition anyway). Suffice to say I forgot to roll up the window and discovered a VERY snowy driver's seat this morning. The window/lock buttons were covered in snow, some of which melted when I turned on the heat so I pray they still work when I get out of work.

The commute was ok. I left my apartment 40 minutes early, which gave me plenty of time to brush the snow off and drive to work (only 2 minutes late).

I was astounded how poorly the city streets were plowed though. I might as well be living in the country.

Hey! I'm at school a$$hole!

We also had a two-hour delay. Classes didn't start until 10 AM. However, I had to move my car at 7 because I was parked in a restricted lot (from 7AM-5PM  ). I tried to clean off my car, but it was COVERED in a sheet of ice. My ice scraper chipped a couple times trying to remove it :nonono:. No fun.

The Contour handles pretty good in the snow... I think I read around here that it was hard to get into first without spinning, I noticed that a bit... I did some e-brake slides in an empty parking lot too
The Contour remains far and away my favorite FWD car to drive in the snow.

They finally got around to plowing my neighborhood, well after everyone's gotten home from work.

yeah these cars are great in the snow. throw a set of snow tires on the car am I haven't had any problems getting where I need to go.

1st gear isn't bad at all unless you floor it, but sometimes thats fun and TC just takes up the slack
