What: CEG Meet

When: July 12th... 11am+

Where: Saratoga Spa State Park, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866. Located approximately 5 miles off Exit 13N on I-87.

What to do: Basic mods: ramps, jack, jack stands, creeper will be available. No electricity. Parking lot surface to work on.

Food: Hot dogs, hamburgers, potato/macaroni salad, chips, soda, beer.

After the meet: Many bars located just down the road.

Lodging: Multiple hotels in area. Camping available 15 miles to the north on Rt. 9, Moreau Lake State Park.

Alcohol: I will bring Coors unless someone wants something else. I am very strict on the 21 rule and will not provide alcohol to anyone under 21 for any reason.

I'm not really into horse racing, but sometime in June might be cool. Maybe I'll have some of/most of the work done on my car by then :p
 
heh .. just last night I was once again thinking how I need to get those gauges converted to red LED. I'm down for anything around your parts even if it's merely a mod meet.
 
Best way to set up a meet like this is to pick a definite date and say "this is what we're doing, so be there"
Just think of us like sheep. Lead us and we'll follow. heh

Late June might be the best, like the 21st or 28th.
A Saturday would be ideal, especially if you have room for people to crash Saturday night and leave on Sunday.
 
Sounds good... June 21st, ~1pm. I don't really have room for people to crash, but there is plenty of camping places around here, less than $20 for a night.

Matt, I can attempt your gauge cluster, but it takes me about 5 hours to do a good job. I do have an extra cluster w/o a tach, if you wanted to put that in, then I could mail your finished cluster.

I'd be interested. My bro is here from IL (going to grad school at UVM) w/ his SVT, he'd be interested too I'm sure. Later June is best, I'll be in ME on vacay early/mid June:cool:
 
It doesn't have to be a mod meet lol. I need to man up and ship the cluster and live without the SVT for a week or two. After SZ I suppose. :)

June 21 is great, calendar is marked.

Matt I have a spare SVT cluster I could loan you if you want ... actually I have two but one isn't mine ... its SVTloki's .....
 
State Park has plenty of parking lot space, I'll bring along a set of ramps, and jack stands, and a jack if anyone needs it. If it rains, we can still have the meet and do a bbq and stuff since they have covered pavilions. Would everyone want to bring something, or do the standard donation thing?

I like the donation route, it tends to yield variety instead of 50 bags of chips.

Nah I usually mix it up and bring Oreos. Mind if I bring Oreos everyone? Lol you guys made fun of me, yet they were the first food gone :nonono: :laugh:
 
Too far for me.

I am planning a meet in my area for sometime in June. It will be at a local park with many picnic tables and grilles and a big brand new playground. That way people can bring their families! It'll be a good time.

I just need to make a few calls. Once I am done with finals, I will be finalizing everything and getting a date.
 
Saratoga Springs State Park. That park is nicer for groups meeting and hanging out. Moreau is better for boating and fishing and stuff.
