robsdaace's H.I.D Kit Vs Stock

question...might be dumb but since i don't know anything bout HIDs really thought i'd ask.

I thought you had to use them in a projector because the cutoff line, and basic lights like what we have stock just will reflect the light everywhere and not give a good beam pattern and will potentionally blind other drivers.

If im wrong that's awesome i'll order a set asap.

thanks

totally ignore my comment, i just read in another thread about D2R lights having the shield answering my question.

and another thing the H.I.D lights are aiming down not straight .the reason i did that is cuz there really bright and blind people infront of me but since there aimed down it jus glows the whole street lol so i love them...and i drive alot at night and these really help there alot better then stock ,so if you want a set order them from robsdaace

ill try and get some garage door pics for you lol give me a few doors i gotta wait until there no one home then ill take some

sorry what do you mean by cut off??

look at a car that comes with HID's stock. Notice the sharp cut-off line of the light when the car is facing a wall or garage door. The light doesn't shine above that line so it doesn't blind people in front of you.

You kinda touched on that when you said you had to angle them down so it doesn't blind people.

Not to be a jerk, but the eyelids need some work. I think eyelids look great, but the light shines through yours and makes them look a bit silly...

IIRC this is the thread where I first heard about them, not sure if they are the exact same model. Most pics don't work anymore, but towards the bottom they do.
