ride height on stock CSVT

SVT may have done a fine job tuning the suspension within the parameters they had to work with. That's got nothing to do with aftermarket suspension manufacturers being able to do a better job or not. OEM's, even for limited edition, will stick with what handles anything on the street like an OEM vehicle. Aftermarket has the advantage of giving a better overall performance package because they don't have to please the masses. If SVT put out a car that scraped the body every speed bump, pot hole, or incline/decline, they would have an angry public. But if the individual wants to take advantage of lower CG or better looks, they can't blame the lowering kit cuz they should know what they're getting in to.

No not every lowering kit improves the performance, but a better job can be done than SVT's but that's no "slam" on them...pun intended.

Wow a lot of replys but not even one attempt to answer OP's question.

I recently did aftermarket stock components all around, now car sits a hair short of 6" in front and 6-1/4" in rear. Measurements floor to underside of side skirts at each end.

I had the same question he did before. My car had original worn out slammed suspension so I had no idea were I would end up if I lowered. In hindsight lowering springs would have raised my car slightly from worn stock.

THANK YOU

for staying on topic and actually helping me.

sad :nonono: how off topic it got but at least some replies we're amusing

anyway. you had the exact reply I was lookin for.

Thanks again.
