Today, I clayed, polished, and waxed a scuff mark on my passenger rear door handle. A little out of focus, but results turned our pretty well.

Not a bad fix. I have scuffs on my front bumper bottom as well that will be cleaned up when rear bumper gets repainted in a few months. Your previous pics with scale model looks like "Honey I shrunk the CSVT"

That bumper was just repainted like last November, so that makes it even more of a kick in the teeth. At least I had some rattle can handy.

Turned out good, my car needs a claybar asap..I just haven't had time..

Looking at that makes me wonder what it would do to my paint

Clay bar isn't going to get rid of any scratches. A clay bar is used to get rid of above-surface defects such as overspray, rail dust, etc. Most of the stuff you get rid of with a clay bar isn't even visible, but it preps your paint for either polishing, or for a sealant/wax. You're only going to get rid of below-surface defects by polishing, whether it be by hand or with a high speed polisher.

Claybar can really clean up the car. I have had really good results too:

I clay bar'd & waxed the door, mirrors, and hood tonight. It was driving me crazy how bad they looked. Here are some sweet before and after of some areas. I'm really happy with it and would probably be content, but that stupid E0-E1 ding guard difference pisses me off. Anyone have some tips for removing the guard without damaging the door?

^ - turned out good

Nice work there.

Yep. All the stuff that accumulates on your car's paint/clearcoat over time really changes the quality of the finish. I also had good luck removing paint to paint rubs and scuffs on bumpers from encounters with other cars.

I forgot about those pictures you took Joe. It came out really good. The paint on my car isn't in bad shape just a little "dull" in spots...I figured a good, wash, clay, and wax would make it pop.

It's just some spots that have that white hazyish appearance pretty much like how it looks in joes before pictures

You crazy Crazy! I replaced the door on that 2k svt with an E0 door. The ding guards are different shape and in different locations, I just hadn't replaced/moved it yet in those pics. ;) - thanks anyway
