I will be ordering the stainless steel Focus SVT door sills from Bill Jenkins at Team Ford and would like to get a set for the rear doors also. I thought the 4-door Focus SVT rears would work but Bill thought they were too long for the Contour.
Anyone have an answer?
Any help appreciated.

Probably will have to resort to that if I have to. I can't see the rear door on a Focus SVT 4 door being that much longer than a Contour.
Anyone have any specs?
I may just wait and measure my brother's car when I'm home for Thanksgiving. He has an '05 Focus ST.
I'll let people know what I find out, but I'm sure someone here has tried this. I couldn't find anything with the search.

I know the fronts fit but are like 1/2 inch long. I have them on my car an no one would know there a bit long except me. I am also looking for rears but instead of the focus ones you might want to look into the group buy that’s going on and get them from that. Those should fit better?

Thanks for the info. By saying there too long, what do you mean exactly? I've seen them in pics and didn't notice anything. Just curious to how they are too long and if it effects anything.
That GB is a good deal and I had planned on doing it, but I like the look of the OEM ones and have already ordered them.

It’s kind of hard to explain but the focus sill plate is just a tiny bit longer then the flat part of the door sill on the contour. As the focus sill plates reach the ends of the flat part of the sill on the car there is a radius that turns up to the a pillar and the b-pillar.
They are flexible so do kind of stick to the curved surface.
It’s not a big deal I just mentioned it since that was the only thing that made me unhappy with them.
Also I do not have rears focus sills so I can’t help with that sorry.

Thanks man, that definitely answered my question.
Does the fit leave a gap due to the curve or does the tape keep it down?
Would installing with some heat from a heat gun help mold then to the curve or would trimming help?
Nice pic too, looks great.

I pioneered this mod with the help of Bill Jenkins.

The front FSVT sill plates fit without any issues on the fron doors of the Contour. The sticky tape, peel and stick, is industrial strength and will hold the plate down without an issue.

For best fitment I would remove the seal, measure, remeausre, and then stick.

The FSVT ZX5 did not come with rear door sill plates. The only rear sill plate I've seen are custom made. Buckshot has some nice ones on his car.
