I've done a ton of searching but haven't been able to find what I'm looking for. I'm having my stock rear subframe reinforced and assumed I would drill a second hole to use the prothane mounts with my aussie bar. Well with the stock hole at it's most inward position, I have this:

It doesn't look like that will work since there is barely any room on the other side for a hole. So what have other people done to get this going? Completely remove the mount and weld in some C channel with holes drilled and nuts welded in?

No ish. Have to use them together. Wish I had a pic of my reenforced mounts. I think a plate was just welded over the stock. On the left side of the pic a hole was drilled in the new plate. Then use a new nut and bolt. Use the OEM hole that's on the right side of the pic. Good to go.

Makes perfect sense. Thanks!

For those if you with these plates welded or updated/reinforced rear subframes with two holes, is there any problems with the swaybar mount hitting whatever line that is on the pass. side? Terry had mentioned something about fuel tank clearance to me and I was just checking it out. Doesn't look like there is any room to extend the mount without hitting that line.
