PIAA Bulbs...

Hey all...

My car came with PIAA bulbs. Driver side 9006 burned out, so I went to replace with another 9006 I had, and the GE 9006 doesn't fit into the hole in the headlight. The plastic barrel right under the actual bulb is too large in diameter to fit into the hole in the headlight, and doesn't allow me the insert far enough to turn and lock it in place. So at first I'm thinking I'd just order another set of PIAA's for it, but shouldn't all 9006's be the same size as their OEM replacements? I can't read any nomenclature off the PIAA bulb...just a patent number. I'm worried that the PIAA 9006 won't fit either.

Are PIAA 9006s different in size than regular 9006s?

I dont know, but i'd just say get some hid's in it..

True, a set of HIDs would probably be half the cost of a set of PIAAs. Plus they'd be brighter, run cooler, and last significantly longer.
