Well if you guys looked over in pics and vids I have my new setup in there but I am having a problem with it. I know quite a bit about audio but I have never dealt with the pass through RCAs.

My problem is that now when I use my pass through RCA to power my second sub amp it seems that theres like signal loss or something because when I have both of my amps running (each w/ separate subs) it does not sound that good at all... not even as good as only one sub and amp going.

Why is this? Tell me what you guys think. If SoundQ can answer this I would appreciate this because you're the most credible audiophile on this board....

Thanks guys

Pass Through Not the problem... what is?

Pass Through Not the problem... what is?

Well it is not the pass through RCA because I tried a splitter and it really did the exact same thing....

I don't know what is wrong but as soon as I plug in the second amp rcas both subs become quieter than one and it seems that I am losing power... I left my DMM at work so I cant check exact voltage but could this be why that I dont have sufficient voltage to run all amps and need another capicitor?

  • So with just the one amp on does it play fine?
  • What happens if you take the RCA's and plug them into the amp that is getting the pass through connection?
  • Maybe you have bad RCA's coming from your deck? Have you tried a new input source to the amps with a new set of RCA's?
