panel under steering column ?

While cleaning out the drivers side bay, I found that a trim piece was not fitting properly into the body (see pic). It looks like I have to remove the panel under the steering column to re-fit the trim piece. However, I cannot find any reference to this panel in the factory manual.



If I had to guess I have to remove the button covers and 2 screws on the underside ? Anyone know for sure ?

Yeah there is also a pair of screws along the bottom edge. As long as the previous owner put them back in.

Got it. Thanks guys. One thing that kind of funny. I rebuild laptops, and its remarkable how many tools I use for that also work on cars. : )
