What fixes this code? I changed the plugs (motorcraft), cables (autolite) and coil pack from advanced auto. and i still get cyl 2 misfire. Beofre i changed all that i was getting cyl 3 misfire? it doesnt make any sense? could it be the plug's gap?

the only time i get the CEL is when i turn on the engine and it stalls/stubles for the first few seconds. if i give it gas or start driving it then, CEL comes on...

Yes, gap it 0.054 first and see if it improves.

If it doesn't, some other things which could cause that code is,

1) Fuel injector
2) PCM.

I suggest you get a real time scan/freeze frame of the code after the gapping of the spark plug. That scan will definitely help you narrow the cause of the code.
