Karen and I are off to North Carolina today to visit former NECEG members Ed and Kristen. From what I hear it is pretty dang hot down there right now. I'm hoping to eat some good BBQ while down there. Hey LauraSVT, you seem to be a wealth of food/beverage knowledge; any good places to go near Raliegh/Durham?!?!

Probably won't be checking the boards. Not that I post here much anymore, but I do read the posts everyday!
 
Be safe down there! Watch out for alligators! Have a great trip and tell them Sue and I say hello.
 
We got back home on Sunday night around midnight. We had a great time! The weather was perfect. Went to the beach one of the days and got a little toasted(by the sun and by the rum and cokes!!!). Visited a couple of local breweries and some great bars. We also visited NC State, UNC, and Duke. Very nice campuses. Kinda felt like a dirty old man looking at the sorority girls, but I got over it!

Overall great/relaxing trip. Ed and Kristen say hello.
