I hope everyone is pumped on this idea and can make it out!

I have a route planned for Team Minnesota and will be posting links from google maps as well as further detailed instructions.
On the link that I'm about to post, I will be at destination "A" at approximately 8:00am and looking to shove off from there no later than 8:20am to make it to the main meet destination in Hastings, MN. I added this short route for any Wisconsin members close to the border willing to jump ship and come along with us.

The main meet up spot/destination will be the parking lot of Walgreens in Hastings, MN at 9:00am.
You will notice there is a Perkins Restaurant one block further South on the opposite side of HWY-61. If you wish to get food there or somewhere else, be sure to leave yourself with enough time to get back to the Walgreens parking lot by 9:00-9:15am. Have your fuel tanks full at this point also.
We will be shoving off from destination "A" at 9:30am.

I have us arriving at Riverside Park in La Crosse, WI hopefully around lunch time. This, by no means has to be our final destination or the spot we break for lunch. I picked it because it has decent online reviews.
There is another park with great reviews called Grandad Bluff Park that is supposed to have a great scenic overlook.

This will be my first time to La Crosse, so if there are worthy visit spots you know about feel free to bring them to my attention. Also, if your looking at attending, but can't make the original meet up spot and you wish for us to hold up somewhere further South so that you can catch up you need to let me know ASAP. Otherwise we will just plan on meeting you in La Crosse.

The road home will be travelled on the Wisconsin side with one brief stop here:

Then on the road again to Prescott, WI. At which point I figure is a decent breakaway point or spot to find some dinner if people are interested.

Route for me will be over 275 miles round trip... I will have to check my odometer and see if that's allowed.:help:

and when else would you put that on there... seeing as you never drive your car this will make up for the last three years.

I will be going but now I found out today I have to leave by 3:30 to be back for a wedding by 6pm....... I can do earlier if its available ;)

Im in to meet at 8 with crazytalk. We'll be leaving around 2 or so to meet up with friends in winona.sounds fun.

I'm going to shoot to be in La Crosse about 11am just to get more time in there for myself. If anyone is up for starting sooner, I will be there.

That way maybe we can chat and work up an appetite .

I don't feel like getting up at 4:30 to be in Hastings at 8:00 :p And it would be over 600 miles and 10 hours of driving for me....and I too have a wedding that day.

I'm noticing a little bit of confusion and wanted to clear it up.

Route http://goo.gl/maps/Amb21 at 8:00am is not mandatory, although everyone is welcome to join there if they would like. As I said, I set this up mainly for people within Wisconsin limits to meet up with the Minnesota crew.

We are meeting in Hastings, MN at 9:00am. Walgreens parking lot, destination "A" from this route http://goo.gl/maps/H0SDq

This is why you come down Friday night...oh and to reiterate, it's Hastings at 9:00am

Man, I know. I told my wife last night that the 13th was a go for the meet with you guys. Then she said, "so does that mean we can't make it to your aunt's wedding?"

WTF?!?!?!!?!

I said that you guys were bending over backwards to meet in La Crosse for ME and any other Wisconsin people :nonono:.

I told her that we will just have to be a little late to the wedding, just the way it is. Can't back out now.

Also probably bringing my bro SLVRFRST to ride along or maybe he will drive is '99 T-red/Tan 3L built SVT too .

Crazytalk, you bringing the bagged SVT?

It will be almost 400 miles round trip for me.

Anyone need parts they want to buy cheap to help pay for my gas and make the trip even more worth it with free shipping to LAX? :D

I'm sure I won't, sorry :-/

As sad as that is, it frees up Redlineracer12 of me pressuring him to bring the rig, which in turn freed a spot up in my car (no rig poles) so now CSVT#49 doesn't have to ride on my roof.

Oh and nice vulture in the meet thread.:laugh::laugh::laugh:
