Non A/C belt

72" sounds waaay too big, with A/C my serpentine belt is a 715K6 which is a 71.5" 6 rib belt. Dayco part number on rockauto for without A/C is a 625, so 62.5". That is for the standard 2.5L duratec though, see edit for more info.

EDIT: I'm wrong, lists for an '04 Escape 3L as an 819 and a Taurus with A/C is an 815, so you're probably right.

No I'm wrong - I thought the 2.5 and 3l were the same. I couldn't remember exactly but seeing 625 it jogged my memory. I used a 630 when my AC compressor seized at a track weekend. 6, 7 no big difference right ;)

Ah I see, I guess different routing and pulley sizes for the Escape and Taurus? Strange, I figured the motor should have the same but I was surprised to see the difference between those vehicles. Oh well, at least he has a rough estimate to work with haha.
