Finally took care of the wife's pulsing brakes and shaking car at 80 mph.
I replaced the left rear hub and drum (overkill). It appears that the old hub was not concentric with the bearings. Smoothed the brakes and now the car is smooth all the way to 80. With the brake drum and the tire now centered on the spindle all is good.
Found a hub assembly for $45 including shipping from rock auto. Easy install.
