new to 3L svt with rpm question

In,my portmatched its like 2700 I wanna say

okay that right around the same as mine, i had never got to drive mine with the 2.5 in it, it blew while trying to fix it. got a portmatched 3L and thought maybe somthing was wrong cause it seemed high, i feel better to know its normal. thank you

Just to make you feel even better, same with me, about 2700 or so.

If you spin the tires too much or want it a little lower rpm. The 4 cyl mtz75 has lower number final drive gear ratio and will let it be slower at cruise. But it is quite involved to get the right series parts to do it.
