New guy to the Pensacola area

I found out last night that I will moving to the Pensacola area in late July. Pretty excited about it, looking forward to warm weather year round! And, I just wanted to say "what's up?"
 
Have fun....my 5 yr old lives there with his mom. I used to go there quite often. So why the move? Military, work or just moving? Rexxydoggy lives close by so you will have to look him up and maybe hang out with him. Maybe next time we have a meet near Atlanta you can come up.
 
Yo dude. I'll be living about 40 miles east of you. We've got quite a car scene down here that I can introduce you to. You can join our local car forum here, too. It's race850.com. Oh, and as far as the weather goes, it's not warm all year round at all lol Maybe compared to Colorado, but here in Crestview, we dip down to single digits sometimes.
 
Awesome looking forward to that. As far as the weather goes the key word: "sometimes" I'll take it since its not "weeks at a time"
 
Oh, no, not like that at all. It'll be consistant like, low twenties for sure, and teens, but every other time it'll dip to single. But it'll definitely get hot, too. Hot and humid. But I'm sure you'll enjoy the area. You'll LOVE the beach for sure. Although, I can't say for sure about Pensacola, Fort Walton has the nicest beach ever. Just, end story. lol And so does Destin.

Pensacola beach is nice and so is Destin.....don't think I have actually been to Ft Walton beach. I have drove trough Ft Walton on 98 heading to p-cola. But yeah he will love the area. I always did and it was one of the reasons I tolerated my in-laws for so long. Just what ever you do don't go to pensacola beach on Memorial day weekend! Rexxy should know what I'm talking about. I am assuming you are in the Navy and training to be a naval aviator? If so the base is on the southwest side of Pensacola almost in Alabama. If you do military housing it is in the same area which is a nice area. Anyway I have been meaning to get back down there and hang out with Rexxy but had a lot going on. Maybe this summer I can make it out and I will try to drag OB1 and JC along.
 
sounds nice! haha yeah actually I'm air force, but my training is going to be with the navy. I'm actually trying to find a place that's equidistant from Eglin and whiting. Since my fiancée (will be wife by then) will be at Eglin. I've been talking with rexxdoggy about possibly Crestview
