HEY EVERYBODY!

JUST GOT A 1999 COUGAR 2.5L V6 WITH A BLOWN HEAD GASKET.
MY GF NEEDS A CHEAP CAR SO IM GOING TO TRY GET IT RUNNING.

IT'S AN AUTO TRANS. ( SO SHE CAN DRIVE IT )

i GOT IT FOR 600 BUCKS AND EVERYTHING WORKS...( BUT THE ENGINE)

SO INSTEAD OF FIXING IT AND SENDING THE BLOCK TO A MACHINE SHOP (WASTE OF MONEY) IM GONNA DO THE 3L SWAP ON IT.

If you want a cheap fix (and easy!) I would strongy consider a used, low mileage 2.5L.

Well, i think im gonna buy a 3L since I can find em for like 350-450 $$

Cheaper than the 2.5L....un less you know a secret place! LOL
