It's hard to tell. The Contour has the smoothest powerband of them all, almost making it feel slow. I have not pushed the brakes yet but I can tell the Contour would out handle the MS3 just simply based off the similar weights and the CSVT having a LOT of suspension goodies.

The Mazda just has LOADS of TQ everywhere, It's great around town and would probably out run the contour in many situations. The brakes are amazing (stock) and the car does absolutely everything you want it to down around the corner. VERY composed.

The SHO would just walk them both, maybe a little less TQ down low but the aftermarket cams just make it scream up top...all the way up to about 7200+ RPM...Although I regularly shift at 8,000 RPM's. This is all off the bottle. On the bottle....well, It's just not even a fair comparison. As far as handling...well, I autocross the car with 275/40/17 slicks up front....so no comparison again. However, the car is setup loose....the rear end will come around very fast on you if you are not prepared (On course that is). The braking is excellent. It's just some Cobra 13'' brakes with HP+ pads but the SHO's weight (2840) just makes sure that everything that already worked well on a full weight SHO, works 2 times better.

Interesting. Hope you like the CSVT, that car is pretty much loaded with almost every NA mod anyone would want. Definitely a great buy.

Ah so you were the one in line ahead of me for that car! Looks like it ended up working out for the best for both of us! Enjoy it!

The pic with the SVT and the SHO in the garage is basically my dream garage. The pic of the Mazda with the lady/girlfriend/wife with her arms crossed made me laugh. Made me think of my wife looking out at me taking pics saying "did you seriously buy another one of those cars? The neighbors are going to think we're weird"

lol, The wife is very supportive and has owned a VERY modified SHO herself (3.2 Swap, Every bolt on, Every suspension/brake mod) possible. She's also quite fast around the Auto-X course. Yea, she was a little annoyed with this purchase but supported it in the long run.

Yup, sounds just like my wife. She's supportive, but gives me a hard time at first. She comes to car shows with me all the time, and i'm working on trying to get her to come to the track with me.

Awesome buy man! YOOOO had her looking tough! Enjoy it...and post pics of you two Auto-Xing those rides, would love to see action shots.

Yea, The Aussie shade just is not my thing. I may make a few small coesmetic changes, but nothing real obvious (Except maybe the headlights).

I absolutely love that garage shot, I had thought of doing the same thing with my tour and my Duster, but neither are really photo-worthy right now lol...
Great looking cars!

Dang, that car has been around ;)

Pics make me miss my 94 SHO, it was the same green. I should buy another one at some point. Although mine was an ATX. I still think that car was faster then my CSVT when I had it running with the 2.5L with a few bolt ons. Oh well.

In anycase, nice looking rides.
