hey guys, i installed a set of msds headers, but the header wouldnt clear the svt oil cooler. i removed the oil cooler and just screwed the filter on. i'm looking for an oil filter relocation kit that will work with the svt oil cooler, has anyone else had this kind of problem, or any suggestions as to what kit(thread size, filter size or whatever) i need and would directly work for me??? any pics or info greatly appreciated.

On my 3L I had a problem with a nub on the block that was in the way...I took it all apart (the 2 lines from the cooler to the pump) and rerouted them so they would fit. Maybe try pulling the stuff apart and rerouting it around whatevers in the way.

no its the elbows coming off the cooler they come off and bend to the right and run right into the headers, there is no clearence. with the relocation kit they just come straight out, but i don't know what to use cause i have seen like 10 different styles, but in different thread sizes, different filter sizes.

Here's the good write up that todras did...

And here's the new link to the Ford Racing relocation kit...

In addition to that kit, I added in a thermostat and an oil cooler. Here's the cooler I went with, which I am very impressed with...

Since the cooler was so deep, it required some fabrication. I added a shelf under the radiator/condenser to mount it on. I also replaced the p/s cooler with a similar (but smaller) Earls model.
