god, where to start. this car has had its ups and downs. this will now be motor number 3 that ive had installed during my ownership.

This car has a crazy history, I bought this car from a local guy a long while ago and immediately fell in love with it, shortly afterwards, the motor blew up in it. A local guy around the Detroit area told me that he can throw a 3L in it. Long story short, he got a bad motor with all kinds of sludge build up in it, I was lied to about the progress of the install from day one, he ripped the old motor out in a god aweful way, my car's parts were all over his yard, my new engine was sitting in the driveway uncovered in the rain, I had to get my car away from this guy... Cue Bagged.

I needed the car running and at this point I had run across bagged. He had a 2.5L motor sitting in his garage that he sold to me and installed for a great price which got me rolling again. After this point I was kind of tired of the whole situation I sold the car for a decent price to some kid. Fast forward a few months, this car shows back up in bagged's driveway with some crazy rod knock. Turns out the kid ran the car with little to no oil in it after he screwed up his oil change and didn't properly seat the oil filter, so bagged bought the car back from the kid where it sat in his back yard for a couple of months. I saw the car sitting in the back yard and had missed it since the day I sold it to the kid, so I asked to buy it back from bagged.

At this same time bagged had found a black parts SVT that was in a front ender with low mileage, so him and I went in on buying the parts car, I got the engine and a few other odds and ends and he took whatever he wanted from the parts car, he threw the 2.5L from the wrecked car back into my SVT and I drove the car home.

The car has been sitting at my house for months, I had put some new wheels on it and a few other custom parts and now bagged is doing a bunch of 3L installs and I decided its time to get one in my SVT, so back to bagged's house it goes, and that is where it sits right now...

On to the pictures...

The 2nd 2.5L motor that he did for me he did so fast that I never had a chance to take photos, I dont know if he took any himself, I cant find them in his photobucket. On to the most recent pics, bagged took these when him and AliasJerk picked up the car from my house, im away on business right now.

after meeting this guy and having him do all of these motors, bagged quickly turned into a close friend, and eventually I considered him to be one of my best friends, he always comes through for me, and always takes care of my car.

More pics to come, bagged will be throwing in pictures of progress of the 3L install.

you're right, you are a dope.
this car has had a fudged up history but adam is taking his time and building it nice this time around. his new wheels are sharp, me likey and he's got quite a few nice parts for it. Should be a very nice silfro when it's finished

And yet you continued to work on the car. Good man.

That's awesome you are putting it back together the correct way.

its been correct from the get go. he just sold it to some retard that didnt take care of it and this time around hes pulling a running set up out for the new 3l. its kinda weird just about all of the installs im doing lately everyone is pulling running engines not very contour like:laugh:

wish i had better pics.sucks im on the road so much.i have been away from this site for some time now but kid you not,i am a TRUE enthusiast.

I can vouch for Adam's desire to have this car. After the kid and the event I held the title to this car for a while. I paid for a 3L that Scott picked out as well as a set of headersto go in it. I also got an SVT certificate for it which Adam now has. Adam got a hold of me and convinced me he really wanted this car so I stopped working on finishing up a deal with Scott so Adam could have this car back. I believe that he and Scott will do a good job on this car, Adam has the passion to do this right and 998 will live on.
