Just curious what kind of supercharger you are planning on. I suspect the Vortech. And I'm also wondering if you've fully researched that option yet.

No boss man i havent reserched it yet as it is just a thought that will run its course........Do you hink you could help with options as to this mod it would be greatly appreciated......

Vortech was the only company to produce a supercharger for the v6 cars. Jackson Racing, which is the same unit as Ford racing sells, was made for the zetec cars.

As for the Vortech package, they were problems with the design and that caused premature failure of the jackshaft. The supercharger sits on the right side of the motor by the battery. The jackshaft runs across the front of the motor to the belt drive. There have been one or two designs over the years that have improved the design and all but eliminated failure.

For nitrous, the Venom VCN2000 kit was the best ever in my opinion. Computer controlled and could meter out the nitrous. Better than the normal system that could cause too much strain on internal components all at once.

Good luck finding either kits anymore.

I suggest you spend some time looking through the Forced Induction section. That will help you make a well informed decision when it comes to power adders.

I must know if this guy that you speak of.

The venom kit worked off the position of the gas pedal, 0 - 100%, and rpm. It could also be set to not turn on until a certain rpm as well.

if it you ill call you this week to talk about my tune......i can give you a hint you sent it to me before the storm i didnt recive it and you sent out another one to me (sct x3)...........
