Tonight I painted the housing of the projector flat black and also fabbed a 9005 bulb to fit in the housing to see what the beam would look like(since I don't have the HIDs yet) Very nice!!! I want to make a sexy time with it.
Enjoy!!!

As it sits now

And now the sexy time

(It looks like it has a lot of glare, but that is just the light from the bulb in the projector housing)

Slowly but surely it's all coming along...

It looks like a lot of glare because thats what it is... Glare. I mentioned to you in your other thread that you need to make some kind of bezel or cover to block all that excess light.

Keep up the work, you're on your way.

Do you think that once I put the hightower in that that will block most if not all the glare?

No. Hightower just means painting the headlight bezel. You need to ADD something to block the light completely, not just mute the output. you took a step in the right direction painting the reflector area around black, that certainly helped, but its not enough. Take a look at the following pics for a better idea of what im talking about.

do you still put them circle things if one CEGer wanted something along your headlight there?

and to the gentleman doing thsi project...looks very good dude! keep it up

Holy cow. That's damn good:drool:. What projectors were used for the low and high beams? I got my H.I.D's waiting. Do you use the stock 'tour bulbs sizes or do you have to convert? and where and the hell is the How-To for projectors?
