I ended up not making it myself either. Wife really wanted to go kayaking so we took the kayak out to Rum River.
Wasps... Bees... they both can be wicked. I had to dig up a dying bush in front of the house. When I pulled it up I had bumble bee's flying everywhere. Apparently they decided to nest underneath it. I had never been stung in my life (30 at the time) and one flew right into my eye and stung my eye lid. I was freaking out because my mom is deathly allergic and apparently that sort of thing is hereditary (part of the reason I have avoided being stung for so long). I pulled the stinger out and iced it, but thankyfully never had any issues.
