Luk vs. Spec Stage 1

Which is better for grabbing power ? I know that Luk is a stock but is it a good stock clutch? A shop near my house said that its the best stock clutch and that they recomend it for the Contour SVT's. What do you guys think?

SPEC Stage 1 is better since its obviously a step up from the stock clutch.

Im sure the Luk clutch is still very good since its an svt oem. I still would go with a SPEC stage 1 though. Has the exact same feeling as an svt oem clutch, but grabs harder.

i still am using my stock luk clutch in my 3l tour and grabs great! I have had no problems with it. 80k miles and counting......

There have been a number of people with stage 1's that have had problems with the clutch going out very prematurely. (including me) I liked my clutch when it was working, but I have a hard time recommending them now that mine is going out after just two years and less than 20k miles of use.:blackeye:
