...but not the tire kind :(
this saturday i will finally be doing the roof on my garage. for the past 5 years it has leaked and ruined most of my tools or anything else that has been stored in there.

i picked up 1500sq-ft worth of rubber last friday along with 44 sheets of fiber board and all the other little things needed to get it done.

i will be so happy to have a dry garage this winter!!!

so..if anyone is in the area and wants to swing by, feel free.
we could always use an extra hand lumping stuff up the ladders, haha

Awesome man, it is a great feeling to have a dry usable garage space. Little steps at a time, it will get there.

At least you can peel the blue tarps off the roof now .

actually...its more like rake up the blue threads off the lawn...
most of the tarps have shredded and dispersed around the neighborhood.

well got it done this weekend.
we got all the rubber down by 7pm saturday and i finished the seams and drip edge at 6:45pm sunday night.

now bring on the rain!!!

yup....i would say party on the roof, but i dont think it could support more than 4 people.
haha

i plan on celebrating by cleaning out the garage and doing some interior gutting and rebuilding.
that is, when i have the time!
haha

trust me a roof like that sucks here too.
i have to shovel it off a few times a year.
if i had planned on staying in the house, i would have built a slightly pitched roof on top of the flat one.
