So I was looking at 12 volt magazine here at work, and I saw a place know as LSD(lambo style doors). (www.lsd-doors.com) The site has lots of applications, which don't apply to the Contour sadly, but to focus, mustang, and a couple others. I'm pretty sure that the focus has different doors than the contour, but would there be any other doors that are compatible with the contour?? Understand what I'm saying? Like could I take a focus door off and have it work on a contour.... Cause if that was true, then I could get a lambo kit for a focus, and mate it to the contour. Pretty sure this is all a dream that won't work, just wanted to see if anyone out there knew anything, or maybe another site that has lambo for contours.....

It has been done on a Contour, but as with all cars that aren't Lambos (and especially those that are 4 door), it looks like ****. My .02 of course. I don't know if the hinges were custom one-offs, store bought, or modified. I'm sure someone on here has a pic of it. It's candy green w/ no back seat - custom sub enclosure instead. It has been on ebay several times in recent months.

I think they make universal kits for cars now. The bad thing is it take a lot of time to make them work and it sometimes causes people to roll their car fenders so the doors can swing up.

I found these.

it looks good because of the bright green, other than that I don't think silver frost or t-red would look good with that, mabye chilli red or lambo yellow.

why does everyone call them lambo doors? they are technically scissor doors, lambo just made them popular. like calling gypsum board sheetrock. sheetrock is just the brand name, not the product. or like cresent wrench, or skilsaw. sorry, rant off.
