soon i am buying a mk1 mondeo with a 2.0 zetec turbo conversion that is 300bhp, i've been for a ride in the car and it is seriously struggling for traction on the standard suspension.

i will be fitting uprated front wishbones with polybushes, wider wheels, and as a priority i will be fitting uprated lower shocks and springs.

i have the koni adjustable shocks/springs on my other mondeo and they work very well, is it worth paying the extra for coilovers because it will work out almost double the price?

its already got a front strut brace, i was also gonna fit a rear strut brace, uprated rear control arms and drop links, rear polybushes, is there any other suspension tweaks i could do to keep this monster on the road?

i will get a quaiffe LSD eventually but was wondering what other suspension stuff i could do.

i think the LSD and some nice sticky tires would be a good first step at getting the power to the ground. also you may want to PM josh(pole120) and talk to him about the poly roll resistors to help eliminate any wheel hop you may get.

i was gonna fit these front wishbones with the uprated polybushes, i know someone who put them on a track v6 mondeo and it stopped the wheel bouncing and took away his wheelspin
