is anyone else planning a scrap visit coming up?
i will be hitting one within the next few weeks, anyway, and if there's anything somebody needs i can take a look (or vice versa, given my typical lack of free time - if anyone happens to be going soon and wouldn't mind looking for a couple small parts for me, that'd be great)

well if you happen to go back before i get the chance, could you look for some weather stripping? i need the driver door and rear passenger if available. and bumper mesh (doubtful to see an svt there)

one thing he's not likely to find is some bumper mesh from an svt. i doubt there's any on a junked SVT but if you don't mind looking...

edit: also, what color are they?

iirc, it was a yard in Pinckney that had the svt's, i'm unsure of condition or color.
however, the scrapbusters in Canton has a couple svt's and quite a few others actually, i'll put up a couple pics; let me know if anyone needs anything, i can go back this Thursday or Friday.

below are a few of the pics i snapped while i was there. there are actually a couple fully-intact duratecs, a couple missing just the UIM, an SVT missing UIM, a couple full-zetec, LOTS of reflectors and rear lights in very good condition, trunks galore, trunk latches, an IMRC or two (one of which will likely be mine, i just need to read up and make sure i pull it properly), a couple air boxes, a few sets of SE wheels, a hood or two i'm sure in good condition (there were about 10-12 total contours, to my surprise), floor mats in varying condition, one retracting antenna (no guarantee on functionality) and a couple standing (mast) antennae, a few fog lamps (didn't look too much at condition) and a bit more here and there.

they seem pretty fair, i pulled a couple pieces of weather stripping (there was plenty, but a lot of it corroded), one SVT antenna, 2 very good condition fog lamps, one trunk release, a couple emblems, a couple other misc trim pieces, and 2 5x7 aftermarket Polk speakers i have yet to test - all for about $50.
