I didn't take any pictures of the outside because I was in a rush. This car had just shy of 20k on the ODO and it wasn't a rollback. The zinc coating on the calipers was still shiny! It had been sideswiped but the entire thing was mint! I'm going back for the interior and struts and springs and control arms. I imagine some 60 year old lady bought it new. Drove it to the store and back. Got in a little fender bender and the kids said no more driving granny. The adjuster must have said it cost more than the car was worth to repair and salvaged the thing. But it was nothing more than a light sideswipe. Replace the drivers door, front fender and mirror and the car would have been golden. I nearly cried. Imagine picking this thing up for a few hundred! Fully optioned. Leather, sunroof, 4 wheel discs. The only thing I didn't like is that it was an auto. The thing is like new though. No exaggeration. I still can't believe it. What a waste.

The interior is stunning for a 21 year old car, it must have spent the remainder of its life in a garage. It's a shame we toss things that can be easily fixed, but that's our throwaway society. Rescue as much as you're able. Utah's climate is easy on cars as well, other than the sun, which that car doesn't seem to have seen much of, corrosion is unusual. My 99 SVT Contour has spent it's entire life in Colorado, East of the Rockies, and it doesn't have a single spot of body corrosion, even the steel brake and fuel lines are still shiny at 125K miles.

Crazy what some people deem as junk is truly a gem to someone else.... get what you can!

I recently came across about a 95-97 mystique 4 cylinder. My friends and I are parting it out on eBay & All I was able to get off of it was exhaust from under passenger seat all the way back to replace my muffler. But I had to do some engineering to make it work on my 99 contour.
