This years lease is up. The SHO was fun while it lasted but the Edge Sport is still pretty cool. It's best looking and most high tech crossover you can get right now IMHO. My dad loves Sync so getting the new MyTouch technology was a given. I can't wait to check it out.

Those edges are sharp looking cars! (no pun intended:laugh:)

Personally, i would have kept that SHO but that is my dream car..

My dad has the Ford manager lease plan which requires him to get a new vehicle every year. He usually just gets whatever Ford is pushing to get out on the road, which generally happens to be the cheapest. Last year it was the SHO. This year its the Edge.

Plus, when you have a Viper sitting in the garage, suddenly the SHO seems pretty insignificant. ;)
 
Does it have the new V6? The one that is in the new Mustang?

Good looking SUV, imo its the best looking one out right now.
 
i just saw one of these up close the other day, i love em! nice grab man... these cars really are beautiful. those wheels are like the ones you see on the bmw x5. ford really stepped up with this car
 
You're going to love it, Jim! When I came over to hang out with Scott, Tom was sitting in it, playing with all the buttons. I sat in there with him for a bit and check it out; it's flat out awesome! I can't wait to get a ride in it and see it in person under the sun.

Yes, its the 3.7L 305 HP. I agree, best looking cross over out on the market.

Mark, we'll have to get together the next time I come up to the Fort. We keep missing each other.

Absolutely lust after one of these and the soon to be new Cherokee SRT8 ! :drool: The Edge sport looks even more amazing after the bodystyle refresh. Very nice pick up!
 
I LOVE the Edge, ever since it came out, and still do with the new model... however, I've heard bad things from mechanics re: reliability. Too much complexity, not enough reliability... but we'll see more of the true story on that after a few years I guess. I also have to doubt the opinion of anyone who was excited by the SHO, or any Taurus since the re-introduction :/ Ford screwed up big with them, in price & design both. I just hope the infection doesn't spread to the rest of their lineup. They're getting too pricey. They'll blur the lines between Ford & Lincoln, just like they did with Mercury, lose buyers, lose quality, and fail. They've been doing much better than GM or Chrysler... maybe, until now... dunno, we'll see I guess.

Not really. You want a "Cheaper" vehicle, get a Escape. That is what it is there for....they don't have all the techno stuff in them but with Duratec in them,that is pushing 270 hp, gets it up and going rather quick.
 
That really is bad ass and IMO is the best looking crossover out there, at minimum top 3! What size are those rims, they look great!
 
Aye, I like the Escape a lot too, elraido.

Klasse - by my peering at the OP's pics closely, I think I see 265/40R22 ... :O Reviews of the car do state several wheel options: 18, 20, 22 but that's all I could find.
