No, it's just the usual crew doing it more frequently in other forums aside from just their regional forum.
It is losing its funny pretty quickly too.

Yeah, I've noticed it for 7 years, so get used to it. Some of the rude and impatient people have very little going in life except the internet. They have their internet suits on which is like a big fake muscle suit, because when you see them in person they are so nice and sometimes scrawny!! I often say, "Ohh, your THAT guy!!" At least only a few come in NE-CEG occaionally and I ignore them like usual. (Yeah, my ignore list is indouble digits now)
 
Basically just ignore it. there are wicked jerks here and they happen to offend the idiots who write back and just egg them on. thats why there is a ton of posts about douchbaggery, people posting stupid things, w/e. Who cares and move on.

But yah, people are complete jerks and they suck. thats it.
 
This has been happening for years. Though you're right .. it's gotten much worse very recently. Must be something in the spring.

I (try to) only insult only when I feel it is absolutely deserved. It occurs rarely.

In person, I do tell people off once in a blue moon, and it always completely throws off everyone who knows me. My favorite was a high school class reaction to me telling a teacher that the class' very poor average test grade was likely a reflection of his teaching ability. Everybody was stupified for a good five minutes. :D
