When pushing the axle into the tranny from the driver side wheel well.

What part of the axle can I use to push the axle into the tranny???

Do I push from the very end which looks like it will compress the boots/cv joints.

Or do I grab a hold of it by the inner cv joint enclosure and try to push it in till it clicks in...

Thanks I am in the middle of the install so any responses will help me think a bit...

I did it, and yes i tested it and it works.... Now for future reference.

I pushed the axle as far as it would go with the hub/knuckle on the axle. put the hub on the strut then on the tie rod. screwed the axle nut in a way so i can hammer it with a rubber mallet.

Voila axle popped right in! reassembled and moved a bit no violent popping anymore.

Just needs some more trans fluid.

royal purple here i come.
