I need a IAC valve ???

I need a IAC valve , Where can I get one besides the crooks at the dealer ? Does anyone have any experiance in replacing one ? do I need a gasket or does it come with one? Do I need any special tools ? Who in my area wants to make a little cash (I have big hands and no patience)

V6 or I4. V6 is easy, two studs 10mm I believe. You need a new gasket if old one is umm old. I4 is harder to get to, I haven't done it so I'm not exactly sure how hard, but you have to go from under the car IIRC.

IIRC, you have an SVT. You should get one for your year from the dealer. Parts were changed on some years. Don't really know if the aftermarkets kept up with it. There have been posts in the past where CEGers put in an aftermarket IAC valve and ended up with a horrible "moose".

IAC nut/bolt size 8mm and EVR nut/bolt size 7mm. The EVR is the round black thing on top of the finger in this picture.
