That's the final cost of the black SVT that got totaled.:nonono::nonono:

Where's Paul, I think I need the Plumbers Crack Caulk.

I'm thinking you need more than crack caulk.

I can't believe I signed the paper for that. Where was the little voice that goes, "Hey...hey...I don't think we should do this."

I wish someone was there to just punch me when I picked up the pen.

Was zum Scheiße!

In all honesty ... I don't know  . I already had a near mint , fully loaded , teal '95 SE Contour . Didn't really "need" the SVT or it's loan that came along with it . The '95 would've been paid off LONG ago & I could've used that money to mod the heck outta it - or my Jettas - or to help fill my (weak-azz) bank account :( .

Don't know if I want NEW Scooby - don't know if I want another NEW anything . I just kinda want a different car that will sorta compare to the Contour , that I can drive & enjoy without worrying about something happening to it . At this point , I just can't see myself putting the SVT into daily use . I've spent so much time trying to preserve it . I'll let someone else drive & enjoy it . If something happens to it , it'll be easier for me to take . Does that make sense ?? In some conveluted way , it does to me .

I'm also looking into the thought of an SER Spec-V ...

It makes sense.

In my personal opinion, don't get the Sentra. Why not go for a RWD platform?

Not sure how this should be conveyed, but I hope it gets taken the right way.

At the point I was introduced to all of you, it was a time when I needed friends. So, even if the car was a tragic let down, I met some awesome people. Albeit I paid $10,000 to make new friends, it was worth it to me.

You guys are expensive. :laugh::laugh::laugh:

We don't want a RWD car , and didn't want one at the time we bought our SVT . Hell - we could've bought a Mustang GT for the price we paid for our CSVT , AND we could've had Ford's recognition to go with it . They actually ACKNOWLEDGE they make a mustang ;) , lol .
We've had plenty of RWD cars (even had a 5.0 T-Bird when we got our CSVT) , and I'll always be tinkering with old Volvos & stuff , in case I really have to drive a RWD unit . I really like the Spec-V - it drives really well , has a LSD , a 6-speed , big brakes , plenty of schwoop and enough room for what we need to do with it . It's certainly a viable replacement for our CSVT . If I get a well-cared-for '02-'03 Spec-V , I could put the $$$ I get for the CSVT , and only need a small loan to cover the rest of it . Plus , with someone else owning it first , most likely I'll be able to drive it daily if I so choose and not feel too bad about it . Odds are I'll still use the Jetta as my DD , but I won't HAVE to be so anal with it as I am my CSVT .

Of course , most of that mumbo-jumbo will transfer over if I get a used Scooby too ... although I'll ave a bit more of a loan :( (and worse gas mileage) .

We may be more expensive, but at least we're less risky than hookers...

you guys as friends cost me well over 5000. 4000 for the car and at least 400+ worth of junk yard parts till i met luca.

DONT JUST SELL THE MONDEO TO JUST ANYONE!! that thing should ho to aaron that kids keeps his car sooooo clean its not even funny. i wish my car wasnt a DD and i could keep it in a garage but that wont happen till way after college.

Thanks for the compliment Ian. I try my best to keep her clean. Right now its driving me nuts that I can't go outside to get at least the worse of the salt off. Anybody have a heated garage with a water hookup and a drain that I can use?

Don't worry, when the time is right, Im sure Allen will make sure he sells the car to the right person (me...he he) :D
