So I went to get some food at Carl's Jr. and when I go down the driveway to go out on the street, I couldn't angle my car so the front bumper is cracked. So I was wondering if I get Bondo, will it help? And how does it work?

Bondo is a two part putty. One is the putty and the other is the hardener. Basically, you just mix a little bit of hardener with the putty and then apply it where you need it. Generally, when your working with it, it needs to be about 60 degrees outside for it to fully harden in about 1-2 hours. When applying it, you'll want to make sure that the area is scuffed up really well with some 400-600 grit sandpaper so it gives the bondo better bonding when it drys and you start sanding.

That being said, Not sure where the crack is on your front bumper, but bondo is very brittle once hardened and is prone to cracking on a flexible surfaces. It might be fine for filling in pits and scratches in a front bumper, but I'd really have to see the spot where its cracked because it may just end up cracking apart again later down the road since the bumper is a flexible polyeurathane.

Where is it cracked?

it has been said that Bondo glass, witch has fiberglass fibers in it is stronger and better for that kind of repair. i would use fiberglass mat on the back side of the bumper with resin. then cut a V on the crack on the front side and fill it with some bondo. i have never done that but thats what i would more than likely do. do some google searches.

bondo doesnt adhere to plastic very well and even if you did get ti to stick it would crakc off and look worse than before... the best thing to do is if your bumper is plastic is to take it to a shop that does plastice repairs or if you know how to do plastic repair then do it yourself...if its fiberglass then basically follow instructions on how-to fiberglass....if that was my car i wouldnt worry too much on that small of a crack...unless it worsens
