how to identify what computer i have?

i cannot find anywhere that will show how to identify a ford ECU. im trying to get a used one and cannot figure out where the identification is on it.

im looking for an

XS2A-##

or something like that and not finding it.

can someone help me figure this out?

here is a pic of all the info on my computer. there are really no other markings. it is a Ford remanufactured computer.

the pcm code is the four digit code on the lable. in the instance of the picture you posted the PCM code is SCB1

im trying to get a used one from car-part.com and they do not use that code :shrug:

they use some 6 digit code. i have seen it before but my remanufactured computer doesnt use the same number scheme.

Edit: ok i figured out my computer is a WU7A-SB SCB1 but i cannot find any anywhere. does anyone know what computers will work in a 12/98 build 99 contour SE Sport v6 5spd?
