Bought a head unit on ebay today, want to know how I can bench test it before actually installing it in the car. thanks guys

I have the diagram; yellow goes to batt pos, black goes to bat neg, but what does the wire that goes to ACC go to on a bench test?

also how many amps does a head unit typically draw? this one has a 7" screen. I ask because I was going to use a computer power supply to test.

Step by step for ya:laugh:
1. Strip the yellow red and black wires on the headunit.
2. Pop your hood
3. Raise and support with prop rod
4. Touch the yellow and red to the positive battery post/terminal
5. Touch black wire to negative post/terminal(keeping the other wires still attached to the pos side)
6. Push the power button
7. That should be all.

Make sure the HU is grounded before hooking up any power supply. I had some retard kid destroy my amp a few years back by not grounding it properly.
