Because the hated trunk is basically a CSL trunk

It looks but ugly on that e36 as well, the whole car has boxy lines until it gets to the back.

CSL trunks belong on E46's.

well, the one thing that trunk does have in common with the contour one is it looks like on the car!

atleast from the rear...

I'm almost 99% sure that steering wheel cover is one that mechanics use so they don't get grease and junk on the steering wheel. they also put in paper floor mats. my old shop even would go so far as to put a cover on the drivers seat as well.
