Honda Restoration

I just read all 14 pages... very cool. man, if I had the talent, time, money, and room, and if Ford had the parts.....
my dad told me his own grandpa gave him crap for putting money into a Model A Ford. car nuts are car nuts

That guy definitely has an eye for detail. Car looks brand new!

well for running a shop, he definitely got the free advertisement/publicity he needed. I am curious what the overall oem part cost total was, I went that route for way too many parts on my car and the prices were quite jaw dropping.

On my turbo car I recently installed new OEM headlights, cowl panels, power antenna, tail lights, sunroof motor cover, steering wheel, washer tank resivour, tb bracket, tb cable... all from the factory bags.

Also a 2000 SVT LIM brand new

That's an amazing restoration. Having experienced repainting my entire car I understand what he's gone through. Just the bodywork detail amazes me. That is just a stunning car and one hell of a project.

Idk if anyone saw the last few posts, but someone posted that this guy may be a scammer. Could get interesting...

I read the entire thread earlier today, and thought to myself, What a complete waste of money. I could completely understand doing something like this to a CSVT because they only made about 11,500 of them, but a 5th gen civic that production numbers were likely in the 6 digit range.... I dunno to each his own. That being said the attention to detail is amazing.

Took the words out of my mouth. Nevertheless, amazing restoration, it would have been better to have done it on a vehicle worth restoring which are rare or no longer seen, but to each his/her own!

it wasn't a full on restoration, there are plenty of subtle mods that set this car apart from other. it's just a shame that the thread went down the drain so fast. i would have liked to see the car finished. why doesn't someone do this with there contour? i don't car if it's a SVT or not, i love to see detailed builds such as this one.
