One of my headlights is showing moisture on the inside, so within the next few weeks, I think I will try the hightower mod. I looked on the old forums and new ones and all people seem to recommend to seal the housings up is black high temp RTV silicone. Would 3M 5200 work? Or would I be best off with the RTV. The 3M stuff is mostly used for marine applications and is strong enough to be applied under water and has 2 cures, a 24hr or a 5 day. Thoughts?

i used high temp black RTV. it isnt the greatest, my depo light is a POS and leaks all the time. the TYC is holding up real nice. just go to the stealership and grab some OEM headlamp sealant

Should do the job if its working on your Marine applications BUT....

does it take HIGH Temperatures that it will be exposed to in the headlight????
If it can take a high temp then your good....IF NOT..
Get the RTV High temp Silicone..Its what I used...
