Well, here we go again. Starting threads for every mod i do  This will probably be the last thing i do to the car due to my wife and i buying a house. Just thought i'd share. The low beams are 4500K and the fogs are 3000K. The lows seem more blue than the ones i had on my Mystique, but i like the way it looks.

Hope ya enjoy. On the way home from the pics, the car got stuck in second gear. I was able to limp it to the shop and it looks like the linkage came off. Hopefully its an easy fix tomorrow morning.

Forgot to mention, they are the DDM kits on there.

I hope its only the linkage. The shifter only goes front and back, not side to side. It's weird.

It might be linkage on the tower, if its not the one right off the shifter.
Did you have a problem with getting your HIDs from DDM? I ordered some a while back and it took 3 weeks to get to me. I think they outsourced to china:nonono:. That's where the package was stamped from:mad::nonono:..

I was looking down right below the master cylinder. Looks like it popped off there.

As for getting the HID's it took about 2 weeks to get them. Overall, i'm happy with their product, and i think its worth the wait. Sure as hell cant beat the price.

That's true. The price is the best out there. I would go to a dealership and get new shifter bushings. If i recall they are only like $15 for ALL of them, including the ones in the car. But i did mine a while ago. I just installed my dads HID kit for his tracker and he loves it. My mom wants pink HIDs for her Cadillac:laugh:. To bad DDM only goes to 12K but all the aftermarket bulbs seem to have the same AMP or whatever connectors, so you could get any color from anywhere as long as the connectors work.

I might have to call the local dealership to see if they have any in stock. Depends on the condition of the ones on the car. I think they were just replaced by Wade.

Hahaha... I love it when I see those.

As for the HID kit.... FAIL, of EPIC proportions. There is a reason why HID lights are only found with headlights designed for HID... your halogen headlights beam the light everywhere and in the process blinding other drivers :nonono: I get pissed everytime I see someone do this. Makes me wish I could be behind you on the road with the same setup at night blinding the living piss out of you... then maybe you'd think twice about just shoving these lights in any headlight housing.

I mean seriously look at your pic, and then compare it to a car that had HID's from the factory... there is a cut off... it has a purpose...

This.

Precisely the reason why I still rock Silverstar Ultra(4200k) highs in my lows.

Cuz high beams in place of low beams are so much nicer to on coming drivers than 35W 4500K HIDs.

Plus, my wife hates HID's, but she's driven infront of me and said they arent bad at all.

They aren't that bad actually, it is noticeably brighter not not blinding. I spend a lot of time on the road at night due to my job and no one has ever flashed their brights at me in the 3 years I have been running them

I've been running HID's in my cars for the past year and a half and never had anyone flast at me either. I usually aim mine down just the slightest bit, and i've never had anyone compain to me, or been pulled over.

I have the 55 watt kit, and get flashed all the time. First I wanted them to have the visibility. Now, I feel bad for all the other drivers because they are beyond bright. Brighter than brights lol that's why I'm taking the step to start my retrofit for projectors.

He said he has the 35w. I have the 35w kit as well. I can count on one hand how many people have flashed me. However, I have had a couple people pull over who were in front of me because they couldn't deal with falling into the aim of the beams when going over hills and whatnot. IMO, it's no different than projectors in that regard, so I don't really "count" those. I have them aimed reasonably low...lower than the maximum allowed per MA inspection. The beam concentration is maybe ~75ft in front of my car.

i say repost 15 feet from a wall... i had a pair in my saturn and i got flashed a few times but it is rather annoying to be looking at them from behind or in front, but it was nice being able to see more at night since my eye sight sucks at night.
