Hey everyone.
I recently purchased a 1995 Mercury Mystique. My question is: how can I determine exactly which model I have? The badge on the car says GS, but Carfax says LS/Young America, and the Ford VIN decoder says LS.
The car has leather seats, and a kilometer based instrument panel.

Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

Omg omg omg omg omg omg......

DOES IT HAVE SHARK DECALS????????

Ford VIN....the Young America edition was a "package" on the LS model. The GS is either a replacement badge and/or body panel. Just offering up a possible explanation.

Alright, thanks!
Svttour, it sadly does not. I'm thinking that it is just the LS model.
Is the Kilometer set up unusual for that car at all?

Awwww. Kilometers means it was made for canada. I owned an svt that the speedo read kilometers over mph

klicks as the primary just means the vehicle met one of many requirements (certifications) for sale in Canada, or even a military purchased vehicle to be transported to Europe, Asia, etc for use. Actual mfg origin may or may not be in Canada. Most likely the speedo shows klicks as the primary and mph as the secondary.

The car fax for my 95 LS also said Young American in the information. Just seems that is how the documentation was done somewhere.
