If you are really really careful you can use a razor, but odds are it will rip. I know in MN, you can get dup stickers for under $10.

you heat it up to soften the glue. I just took one off and it was designed to rip apart but it came off in one peice ... just some sun and a razor blade was all that was needed ...

put a warm wet rag on it for a while and let the steam work .then it should peel off

Where is the sticker mounted? on the windshield?

It's on the license plate.
Ask someone from Philly, they steal those stickers all the time down there. LOL! They now use a sticker in the back window IIRC.

Should be easy to peel off the plate, then.
I do it every year when I get new stickers for my plates.
I just use my fingernail to free up a corner and pull.
Occasionally the sticker will be a tad brittle and tear, but since yours is fresh, it shouldn't be a problem.
I guess maybe different states use different stickers so your method may vary.

same in Hartford, CT. plates where getting clipped for the sticker. they would cut the corner of the plate off the car to get the sticker off at a later time. that or they would rip the whole plate off. now we have a sticker that goes in the front window.

Texas went that way a long time ago too. I remember when I first titled my Cadillac they gave me a window sticker for the front AND a plate sticker but I had no idea what to do with it because I had always seen the window stickers. Of course they just revised the stickers to have the plate number and a scannable bar code because people were breaking into cars to steal the registration and inspection stickers once emissions became an issue.
