Fusion Sport compared to Contour SVT

You failed to leave out a big part:

the 2010 Fusion Sport is NO successor to the vaunted SVT Contour. There’s no manual transmission and the suspension is tuned for ride comfort not outright grip

pretty cool, id love to see one with the new SHO motor swapped in. That would be a beast, possibly as the SVT Fusion we all have wanted to see. I know im dreaming, but while im in dream land id throw in a real manual trans.

For those that are wondering the Fusion "Sport" will take the place of what was to be the Fusion "GT" in the lineup, which was cancelled in favour of the Taurus SHO.

EDIT: I am wondering if the SVT badge still might show up on another Ford sedan, since we all know SVT is alive, with the introduction of the F-150 Raptor.
