I used the OEM plastic bracket, a metal stiffener in back, that goes to the underside of the bumper and is secured with the bolt (my install) in the "center" of the bottom edge.
It's screwed to the inside of the grill opening with three screws, and there are three screws holding it to the stiffener.
I had to heat up the top edge with a heat gun, push it into shape to change the angle, then blew it with compressed air to cool it and keep the new shape.
I think it came out pretty good!
