exedy is not a oem. Luk or Sach was OEM. many have had good luck with those brands. either stick with whats known or try it out, I dont recall anyone using an exedy clutch.

I dont either buts thanks for your input. I think im going to try it out, theirs a package deal with a fidanza flywheel runnin a lil under 590 shipped. I let you guys know how it works out for me.

i can vouch for this. i bought a SACHS clutch kit for my previous svt and that unit was great! you will not be disappointed with it. i will most likely get another one for my current svt in the NEAR future.

I have heard positive about Exedy clutches, but I haven't heard anything about the Contour Exedy clutch. Might as well give it a shot.

I've used the exedy clutch and it worked fine my master cylinder messed up and i thought it was the slave cylinder so i bought a new clutch kit and installed it and it ended up being the master cylinder...I have the exedy clutch and it is still fine pm me if you are interested it has about 8-9k on it

Exedy makes GREAT clutches and Fidanza makes GREAT flywheels. I'm sure they will work fine for this application...but then again Spec usually makes good clutches too....

And one day i hope to have a spec stage 3, i have drove a car that had one installed. Its amazing how much more "aggressive" it is compared to stock.
