and somewhere in between the first engine and the second..... just after i beat my friends 04 mach1 that ran 13.3's at the time, and currently runs in the mid 12's :)

i just can't get rid of this car. love this community too much, and too many hours spent on this damn car. thanks for all the help and criticism guys, without you this car would be in the junkyard!
 
Nice 3L, but needs more ST220 UIM:laugh:. The car looks alot better since you had first gotten it, congrats :).

SZ09 Looks like Ill b there! Hopefully nothing else comes up. The wifey is graduating sometime in May so if that overlaps I'm screwed yet another year!

joey was getting stuff togther for a kit but i'm unemployed and i will have tax return money for it but i may just have him bring it to SZ for me and install it in the summertime. so yeah i'll probably be tuned and ready to dyno against ya snob, not that i think i'll compete. this engine is tight but i just don't think it can stack up to what you've got going on

Thanks:o. I'm going to dyno my car with the ST220 with my current 11.5:1 A/F and depending on my numbers I might retune it run at 13.5:1 at WOT. But I do look forward to dynoing and also seeing what your car puts down :).

i really don't think an efficient engine needs to be run so lean. i think they can make big power at 12:1. on my last 3L i had a SAFC2 hooked up and leaned it out to 13:1 at WOT vs. the 12:1 it was running normally and it seemed to lack a lot of torque. of course, it was untuned with a stock timing curve.

its an aluminum heatshield that i bought at pepboys like five years ago. stupid lookin, i dont know why i never painted it black. it seemed to serve its purpose but i think if i do run my car N/A for a while i'm gonna get a weapon R secret weapon intake and heat shield.
